Matt's Take

Thumb Up — They Grew the Corn for Real

Nolan grew five hundred acres of actual corn, built the spacecraft interiors practically, and rendered Gargantua from real physics equations — awe you can audit. The bookshelf third act asks for one leap, and the film has earned the altitude by then. Thumb up.

Norm's Take

Thumb Up — Waiver Granted; the Office Denies a Pattern

One hundred sixty-nine minutes; sixty-one taxable; waived — the docking scene alone posts collateral, and the plot is a promise kept across decades and dimensions. Yes, this is the third full Nolan waiver on my books, and no, that is not a pattern; it is a vendor with a flawless invoice history. Thumb up. The watch stayed home.

The Crossfire

Where the critics stop reviewing the movie and start reviewing each other.
MattThree Nolan films, three waivers totaling one hundred sixty-nine minutes of forgiven tax. The Spielberg chart gets laminated but THIS ledger is just "a good vendor."
NormThe chart documents a court's bias, Matt. The waivers document a filmmaker's honesty. If Spielberg wants a file this clean, he knows where the 108-minute mark is. Next case.
